The Acutonics:® System: A Harmonic Approach to Natural Health
This sound based therapy was developed more than fifteen years ago. Scientific rigor, extensive research, and years of documented clinical results speak to the efficacy of this natural health system. Acutonics:® unique approach to sound healing embraces the concept of a musical and undivided universe. This belief is found through time, across cultures, and many spiritual traditions, where numerous references cite the power of sound to heal, create, generate, transform and give birth to new ideas and new consciousness. The Acutonics:® System helps you to deepen your understanding of the profound universal connections between the natural world, body, mind, and spirit, and the role that they each play in our journey toward wholeness.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture consists of the gentle insertion and stimulation of thin, disposable, sterile needles at strategic points near the surface of the body. Because the needles are so thin, acupuncture is generally painless. A selection of tuning forks will also be used to balance the body's energy or as the main method to access the acupuncture points.
The first visit will begin with the completion of a health history form. The initial examination will consist of numerous questions about your initial complaning and your health in general to gain insight on the possible sources of disharmony. It will also include an examination of your pulse and tongue from a Chinese medicine perspective.
Once the examination is completed you will be placed in a comfortable position for the insertion of needles. You may be seated or laying down. Needles may be inserted at various points on the body. You should expect to feel a slight prick as the needle is inserted and a mild distending or dull feeling at the site.. Needles will remain inserted for 20 minutes or less. Once the needles are removed, you may be asked to turn over for needles to be inserted on the other side of the body.
